HardHeadedWoman Posted May 21, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2013 Anyone have a favorite place for beach tunics? I'm looking for a nice, gauzy long-sleeved tunic with (perhaps) some jewel embellishments. I love the ones from Calypso-St. Barths but they are pricey! I'd love to hear suggestions! cb at sea Posted May 22, 2013 #2 Share Posted May 22, 2013 Almost any dept. store that carries swimwear will have a selection. They don't have to be pricey at all to cover your suit!
CELTICGIRLCRUISER Posted May 22, 2013 #3 Share Posted May 22, 2013 Marshall's normally have a nice selection. I picked up a couple of blingy ones in there for my last cruise.
heyitsmejudy Posted May 22, 2013 #4 Share Posted May 22, 2013 Marshalls or Ross are good picks ... Kohls had some cute ones here the other night. I often buy things like tunics - or hats - really plain and then just add a cute embellishment from Hobby Lobby to it. I can get something that matches sandals or a swimsuit perfectly rather than driving all over the country looking for something that was made to match it ... I just make it myself. Not a lot of sewing involved (thank God) to add something simple.
Hoyaheel Posted May 22, 2013 #5 Share Posted May 22, 2013 Nordstrom Half-Yearly sale for women & kids opened today - they have some pretty silk caftans (that aren't too long) on their website. Soft Surroundings website has some tunics & caftans.
flcruiser1969 Posted May 22, 2013 #6 Share Posted May 22, 2013 Victorias Secret has some nice ones. To me they can get pricey but often have good sales.

HardHeadedWoman Posted May 30, 2013 Author #9 Share Posted May 30, 2013 Love all these replies, Ladies! I'm actually heading over to Ross and TJ Maxx in a bit and I'm hoping they have some good ones. I'm in Miami this week so they should have a good selection. Lissette
foolishmortals Posted June 6, 2013 #10 Share Posted June 6, 2013 I agree with the recs for TJMaxx or Marshalls. I saw a large selection of them recently for around $16.99-$19.99ish.
HardHeadedWoman Posted June 6, 2013 Author #11 Share Posted June 6, 2013 I picked up a white linen tunic with embroidered neckline at Ross over the weekend and love it! I also picked up a cobalt one at H&M that might actually just be a long shirt but wore it to the beach on Saturday. :D Of course, Tropical Storm Andrea is on her way...
