LOTS of Questions! Victory, B2B, FTTF, Circle C, Charging and more!

It’s been 3 years since we have cruised and I have some questions. Thankfully I know the great people on here have the answers! We are cruising on the Carnival Victory out of Miami this month and this will be on our first B2B cruise (yay!).

**I would like my 12 year old to have charging privileges. However, when completing the online sign in, I noticed I can only put her on my account or with no privileges. I would like her to have a cash account OR at least have a daily (weekly?) limit. Is this possible?

**We purchased FTTF for our cruise. For those who have used it on the Victory, what time did you arrive at the port? Or, what time do you suggest we arrive?

**Our kids are in the same cabin for both cruises (lucky them!). We are moving from the cabin next to them to across the hall. Can we just pack our belongings and roll our bags into their room? Will we still have access to their room all day or will it be closed off for a few hours?

**What places are there to eat on the Victory? Just the Lido and the MDR?

**Does anyone have recent experience with Circle C? Our older daughter went on her first cruise when she was 12 and wasn’t fond of it, but that was 6 years ago. I’m hoping our youngest makes a lot of friends!

**Medicine question! My parents are coming and they would like to know if their medicines need to be in their original bottles or can be in the daily pill box? My dad takes a lot of meds for his heart and I know he carries something for his diabetes too.

Thanks!

They always recommend keeping medicines in original bottles. We ran into a hurricane and couldnt get home and I needed to refill seizure meds in Cozumel and without the bottles I would have been up the creek trying to get a extra week's worth. Turned out I had enough, but the way they were talking who knew (this was the time hurricane ike wiped out our departure port).

No pay restaurants on Victory, lots of choices on Lido or MDR you are correct. There used to be a sushi place on deck 5, that on some ships are being converted to tasting bars. one or the other. opens around 5:30 pm.

You can move your stuff into your kids cabin, but they will have to change the key cards in between cruises.. when you get off to change the cards and/or turn in your customs form. They will give you a letter where to meet and the procedure for that ship. So, you wouldnt have access in between changing to the new card for the next cruise.

I would get there by 10:30 to 11 am for FTTF.. if you dont get there to board early, I see no reason to purchase it.

Random B2B question.. do you have to get off and get back on the ship?

Both times it was handled differently. One time we meet at 10 am I think and while we waited for the last stragglers to get off the ship, we gave the pursers desk our cc's and they issued the new cards right there. It was a fast on and off to turn in our customs form (our luggage was in our cabins, so its not like they could prove anything one way or another), we just handed the guy our forms and were escorted back on the ship.

The other time was a mess and they took us into the port to get our new cards issued, to some little old lady who was so slow our Carnival escort abandoned us and we had a hard time getting back on the ship and had to stand there and wait about 30 minutes, wasting the little bit of time that B2Bers have to enjoy the ship to themselves. I was kind of pissed.

I have even heard of one or two cases where they did not actually get off the ship at all .. but most times you do have to get off to hand in your own customs form... and usually to get your card for the next leg.

Thanks fire :). We are getting to the port early and are looking forward to using FTTF. I'll pass on the info about the meds to my parents.
