I think the point is no one should really be judging food. This is proved by the fact that different people on the same cruise will come back with opposite opinions. Reviews for food should be a no-go zone. It turns people off a future cruise and no one can predict what type of food these people like.

 

I found the food on Celebrity Solstice back in March outstanding. Other people in it felt the same and other people thought it was terrible. Judging food becomes an issue of who do you believe. It is certainly not worth coming onto the internet to proclaim it terrible when others may think it is outstanding.

But I won't be cruising Celebrity again, I think they are vastly overrated, their cuisine in particular.

 

Not too far back, I was also an advocate of their food and considered it comparable to Princess.

 

Unfortunately I have the impression that changes they have made of late, as well as cost cutting, no longer warrant that previous evaluation. I can only hope it's a temporary thing.

I found it good - comparable to other cruise lines, except for the buffet where everything was nearly cold. This is not a generalisation or an exaggeration.
