UPDATED List of Current Cruise Directors (CD)

Carlos Torres (on Her Majesty) let me know that he will be the regular CD on Her Majesty until her retirement. I am hoping to hear from him, who will be covering his vacation.

I think people are quoting old list of cruise director's. Sometimes I see hello Chloe is the cruise director on the brilliance on 11 June sailing and sometimes it's Keith Williams. Does anybody have any idea who will actually be the cruise director on June 11, 2015 on the brilliance of the seas?

I thought he was great, a lot of energy, very visible and not annoying...

 

I agree. Ricky is thus far my favorite RCI cruise director, and I was a little bummed to just miss sailing with him on Oasis this past month by a couple of weeks.

 

We had Ricky many times on the Grandeur. He sings and dances and is very outgoing and full of energy. Favorite of any cruise director that we have had.

 

We just got back from the Oasis and thought he was great! Tons of energy and a very fun guy!

 

Thanks all! I'm excited to have someone other than Ken Rush. No offense I really like him but he's been on the most of our RCCL cruises (except Monarch) and like to experience someone else.

Interesting. After his current contract, Mitch has been reassigned to Voyager, so the regular CD position on Grandeur is open. As far as I know, Mitch is confirmed on GR through the end of August, so maybe Rich will pick up from there?

If you view her FB page it is Michelle Oliveira (Pimentinha). At least we know it is the same person, and she will be covering for Carlos Torres. Based on what he has told me, he will be remaining on Her Majesty until she is retired from the fleet. He has not confirmed whether Michelle will be the steady vacation coverage.

Ahhhh... she has 2 FB pages, a personal one and a professional one. That explains my confusion!!! I only viewed the professional one, without the Oliveira. It's good to list both names anyway, so people who know her either way can find her.

 

Michelle is usually the regular CD of whichever ship is doing Brazil in the winter, and then does vacation coverage on other ships during the Brazilian off-season.
