Trunk Bay was very nice , we went straight to the ferry and went ,by cab to Trunk Bay. Snorkeled for about three hours and the earlier you can go the better. ( less people in the water) they have showers and everything you might need for your visit. First Taxi we asked carried us to the Trunk Bay.

NOT LOOKING FOR JEWELRY.. I must of told my wife that 100 times this week

Will check on the CD and assistant. And will forward the message

They have an exercise room ,but we cant make it to it. You must pass the icecream stand to grt to it and we have only made it to that point. But will check cigarette prices

Tonight we ate dinner in the Coral , very nice leg of lamb

The International Crew Show is on in the theater tonight 10:30

We went St.Maartin today and Phillipsburg is great little town ( like an older New Orleans ) Little shops and very nice people ,but then we got a cab and $18 later and 1 hour later we were in Mon( whatever its called) on the french side. It did not impress me at all , but others might like it. We stayed about 45 minutes and jumped a cab back to Phillipsburg and just wondered around and took in the sites. We took water taxi and it was pretty nice to have ,but did not do any beaches . We are back at sea now and fixin ( how bout dat) to go see Bert Stratton I think.

Well Im done posting and my wife has not came down ( from casino) with any more money so I guess she lost tonight.

Have a great night and all you App mountain people , we will be home soon. The sea is nice , but our N.C. mountains are heaven ,FOR SURE

Unless the Sun is rising or falling you will not get suntan on Caribe deck -aft cabins. they are completely covered , but withv that said ,I think Caribe has the best balconies of all aft balconies and any balcony is great to have . Im just partial to the aft .

Cafe Caribe has seafood night again , Crab legs, lobster, shrimp and the other along with Beef Wellington .

Someone asked me about LOVE BOAT DREAM , and you can get it any night in the coral , but do not know about the other dinnig rooms , Im sure if you can get it in one you can get it in the others.

Sterlings is open for lunch 11:30 to 1:30 ( reservations call 6219 )

Tonight is Carribbean Caliente - Dance show in theater 8:30 & 10:45 pm

Bert Stratton will appear agai n in Crooners at 9:00& 11:15 pm

We are at sea day and of course they are running big deals on jewelry and about everything on board. We have another great day and have had no more than three little showers this whole week .

Hi Boonite -- enjoying reading all about your cruise. We're booked on that ship for November, BF cabin on Baja deck. Is there a couch in those rooms? It looks like there is only a desk and a chair. Have only done one Princess cruise and don't remember the Love Boat Dream...what type of dessert is it? Also, was wondering how you like Princess Cays - but maybe you are there tomorrow. Have a great trip!!

Our cabin is aft , but we do not have a couch, it has a large closet area and is a very nice room , but I thought it had a couch in it. It does have a desk in it

Someone asked me about the Love Boat Dream dessert , I have not ordered one but I asked .

We were suppose to go to Princess Cays in the morning , but we have another sick passenger and are headed to Nassau instead. We will port at 1:00pm and will spend the evening ( until 7:00pm ) in Nassau. Thats two people that have had health issues this cruise, We have to port because we have no Heliport on this ship. Seems like someone might suggest one.

Our attendant said that 749 is a suite, we are full and he cant show me the room ,but I will have pics of mine and as soon as I get home I'll send you pics of anything you want , if I have pic of it.

Got a update of my account this evening and the tipping was included in our accout . THe steward ( room attendant) had a 3.65 per person per night and the dining room had 6.55 per person per day and it was charged everyday , so I guess that is for the whole dining staff , buffet and all .

We are very pleased with the staff , I have never said thank you so much in my life. They are all very nice.

Jim , they are prepared for your late nights , I have warned them all.

Hi Boonite:

Regarding the caribe balconies, I am almost positive that all the caribe balconies are half exposed and half covered. I'm hoping this is the case as we are booked in C730. Aloha balconies are fully covered. Maybe you are relating to the ones at the back aft of the ship.

One month from today - can't wait.

You have been so thoughtful to respond to all these questions while aboard - just enjoy the rest of your cruise with your wife. Yes, we are all addicted to these boards!

Hey Lynn, we are on the cruise leaving Sept 24th. A week later this year. We are going with friends and that was the only week they could go. We will have to slum it in the Western Caribbean for the third year in the row. Not that we are complaining.

Hi Boonite...thanks for posting all the great info. I will be on the CB in Sept and thinking about a group slot pull. If you are wandering thru the casino could you check with the casino host and ask about tax withholding on large winnings? We would have about 20 people, each taking their turn at the slot machine, and cashing out at the end. I understand they withhold or file a form with the IRS on winnings of $1200 or more. Is that when you cash out of the machine with more than $1200 or when you win that much on one pull? Also will they just withhold the 30% without any IRS reporting? I hope you enjoy the last day of your cruise. thanks

Chm1219,

I was so excited to hear that your sister has room B754. I can't wait to hear what she has to say about it. I hope the room is as cool as I think it will be.

Thanks again and keep me posted,

That might be the case ( as far as balcony cover ) but on our balcony it is fully covered .

This is a example of one day on the ship

7:30 am Power walk Session Jogging track

5:00pm Abs, Buns and Thighs Aerobic Studio deck 16

5:30 Lotus Sretch class " " "

and I have saw meditation and yoga classes , but do not remember the days

When I get home I will look thru my Patters and e-mail you if you would like.

Dont know about slots ,but will ask

Someone asked me about a carton of cigarettes and they say a cartoon to take home is about21.95 according to brand

Have not saw any horses, hahahaha , cant say , but I didnt see any races...

8:15 & 9:45 JAMES MICHAEL & STEVE MORRIS ( COMEDY ) in the theater.

MUTS is Tom Jones , Tina Turner, and Rocky Horror Picture Show.

We leave in the morning and head home . We are spending a couple of days in Charleston , before heading back up the mountain so I will be off line for a couple of days. When I get home I will be able to set up a photo gallery. And If I can help anyone with any info I can be reached at golsu@charter.net Yes, I came from LSU.

So guys and gals ,Im off for a day or two , but already planning one for christmas, so if you hear of any great deals let me know. Talk to you in a day or so .LATER

Can someone please enlighten me as to what "the love boat dream" is? Thanks

It's a dessert to die for. :D Only thing I remember about it from the Grand 3 years go was chocolate and more chocolate - very rich!

Now that your cruise is almost over, what have you found is the friendliest bar? I understand that a bartender make all the difference if you hand out at one particular harbor:D , huh, oh I mean bar. We had two wonderful bartenders at the sports bar on the Explorer and after all the activities that was the perfect end to the evening. Do they have a sports bar on the ship and where exactly is it?

Thanks for you efforts this week. I know sometimes it is a *pita* taking the time to post. But I guess it's something to do while hanging around.

Thanks again. We will be on July 9.

Hi Joe,

We were just in Ft. Lauderdale yesterday, and there She was, the CB Princess--waiting to leave--I think to the Western. Anyway, stayed at the Best Western Marina Hotel and had a room on the 4th floor on the water side!! Too cool! We arrived at the beginning of a heavy thunderstorm that had moved up from Miami.Waves of rain and wind came up right through the port. I can only imagine what the cruisers were thinking!!! But, it cleared up by the time of departure, thankfully. I especially watched the rail of the Terrace Pool/ Outrigger Bar. My grandson videotaped the entire departure clear to the point where Skywalkers couldn't be seen on the the other side of the white building!

As for horseracing, a poster who just returned from the cruise yesterday, said there were no horse races last week.

We will be enduring the Western Itinerary for the 3rd year, too, on the Star!

Everybody---those of us who have been on the CB are enjoying this thread, a lot!!

mskopins- I dont drink so I cant help you with the Bar choice , but all of them had a small crowd every night and they all seemed to be laughing it up. There was a readed girl down in the little bar on deck 5 ( by the atrium) Amanda ,I think, that made sure I always had diet coke and snacks, while I posted on the board .

Jim , if you need some pics , let me know . This ship has a little vibration every once in awhile ( not just on the aft ) Every now and then , you could see a little ripple in your glass of water , but it is one fine ship and has a very fine staff . The only thing my wife missed was the little towel animals at night.

I have really enjoyed talking with you guys and hope this has been helpful . Thats what we post all of these messages for , And HAPPY CRUISING!!!!!!!!

Hey Lynne...

Was in Ft. Lauderdale like you & saw her in port as well (from my cousins hotel room at the Harbor Beach Resort)...gorgeous. Did you get to stay on the 4th & check out the great fireworks??? I could see them from my brother's home (on the Galt Ocean Mile in Ft. Laud)...magnificent.
