that video was great lol

Thanks. I may be nearing 60, but I still party like a 25 year old. The reason I know when the night club closes is because I am there when it does... Every night. :D

Hope you find a cruise that you and your friends can really enjoy.

And when you find one, let me know... I may want to join you. :)

Please frolic on some ship I am not on..........and RCI would better suit you.

You will be full of pep and energy..You can rock climb..wave surf...Dance in a lot more nightclubs..More passengers..thus more young things to meet.

RCI. pricer but you would have more fun. More pools. Noise levels higher.

Any 7 day or shorter Carnival cruise would probably work or the 3/4 day Norwegian Sky out of Miami would be OK for March, but I'd stay away from the ones that leave from Port Canaveral due to Disney World and families. Yes, I'm sure there will be spring breakers and other young folks on board, but all the cruise lines have really cracked down on spring breakers. If you all under 21 then one adult over 25 will have to be booked into the cabin with you and you also have to be 21 to drink and it noted on your sign and sail pass. Sure, couples and kids will also be on board too so if you are expecting some wild college party on board then forget that, but I'm sure the disco will be humming until late. Also, all luggage is scanned for alcohol and if caught will be confiscated and returned at the end of the cruise. Personally, I was down in Cancun in March and that really looked a place to party for spring breakers and drinking age is only 18. Just saying....

DAYTONA BEACH...you don't have to sober up for a week..and everything that happens...stays in Daytona Beach. Don't pull you Tees up and get photo. that could come back to haunt you when job searching later when you have that degee in hand.

Thank you but what did you mean by smuggled items could be expensive if found. When I recently went on a cruise we had these plastic items that held alcohol but was 100% guaranteed to show up as something different on the X ray monitor.

I meant that the partying could get even more expensive if the smuggled items are found.

They find them more often now than they used to.

Thank you. Those are the type of examples I need to hear. When did you go though?

Glad to hear my examples helped. I went in April on both of my cruises, and there weren't many kids/families on either one. Among the ones onboard, there were more high school kids than little kids, due to the timing of the sailing. I never saw any blatant disturbances, just minor stuff like taking over hot tubs.

I still say you're better off going to an AI. Rules are less strict, and you don't have to worry about age restrictions. But a cruise isn't a lose cause either, as long as everybody in your group is 21+, and you budget enough for alcohol and then some. Because it's not cheap.

Honestly, as a financially challenged college student many years ago, some girl friends and I did an all-inclusive trip to Cancun. OMG ... that is the place to go, trust me on this one. It's so much cheaper and there are so many different club/babe/party opportunities you can't even compare.

I think cruises have gotten a little more family-oriented than what you are expecting.

Just my $.02. :)

One of my first cruises I had a $1000 bar bill :) Its funny people just hand their sign and sail card and buy bottles of wine and rounds at the bar. The last night some get sign and sail card shock ;)

If I just wanted to party I would do an all inclusive and be done with it

Thank you. I'm going to consider that. I think it's about time they make a ship designated strictly for young party people. That would be extremely hazardous with possibility of high risk low reward.

I think the cruise line would actually make more money if they had a party ship(s).

Some people cruise for $499 for a week and don't spend a penny onboard

Some of us drink, gamble, buy pictures ,pick our cabin and spend a lot of money cruising

Have some good dj's playing some Avicii, skrillex, tiesto, deadmau5,Steve Aoki and the Lido deck would be rocking all hours of the day and night with people buying drinks. No need to go to a club if you have the right music .I would rather be outside spending money in my flip flops in the nice weather

I'm thinking Silver Seas Cruise line for him and the gang.....;)

I was thinking a Holland America cruise.

It's Disney, of course! They can start a congo line to "It's A Small World"! :D

Why? For the most part, young party people (as you put them) have little to no money, so why would any cruise line do that???

Chuckling at FireEater, but the one cruise we were on that was full of drunken college partiers so far *was* on Norwegian - the Spirit doing a western Caribbean out of New Orleans.

According to the crew, the brig was full the entire trip. We stayed away from the pool & bars there the entire trip, and the cleaning crew must have gotten lots of overtime.

I too would think what you are looking for might be a better fit for an AI. There are some great ones in Puerto Vallarta or Cobo, party on property or head off to the in town bars. Cheap air and all the drinks included. Drinking on a ship does get expensive and IF you get too over served (and out of control) - they will cut you off. Spring break is a family time and there will be tons of little kids and their parents. We gone to Key West several times - can be expensive for a room but you are in staggering distance to all the bars and action plus they let you carry your drink on the street!

  • 5 months later...
Four friends of mine are planning a cruise. We plan on drinking a lot and partying hard. We don't want to be surrounded by many couples nor kids. We're looking for wild fun young people to party with. I've done my research and notice Royal Caribbean and Carnival are my best options. With that said and based off the things I've read I think I'm choosing Carnival. Which Carnival ship parties the hardest? Which ships should I stay away from? Also what time during spring break draws the largest spring break crowd? I know around easter but easter 2014 is super late next year (April 20). Most schools go on break in early March with like less than 3% going after March 30th. Suggestions please? :)

March 2013 2 of my friends and I ( third one backed out because of work) went on a 5 day carnival cruise that left out of port Canaveral to the Bahamas. By far the best time of my life! It was a party the entire time. The age group was 20's to 30's there were some people older and kids but those poor souls had no idea it was spring break for colleges. We were able to smuggle alcohol on the ship but one of us got caught they didn't do anything but take it and say this will be great for the xmas party next year. I don't know about royal and all the other cruise liners but we asked the staff on carnival if it was always a party like this and they said only during march. If you drink a lot expect to have a large bill at the end. $20 for 4 16oz beers plus automatic 18% gratuity. We all spent $800 or more. The casino can help with the bill or make it worse obviously. My friend won $1500. Its a blast, you don't know what time it is or even care until you have to be back on the ship to go to the next port. The only way you know what day it is by which port your at. It can be really expensive but if you can deal with being broke after then its def worth it.
