I have some OBC and was wondering what happens if you don't use all of it? Just wondering if we will need to spend it all or if we can cash it out at the end of the cruise

Unless the OBC is from a Future Cruise Certificate, you will get a refund check sent to you a few weeks after the cruise. At least, that's what happened to us!

It is on a cruise that I am going on in Oct and we just got a decent amount of OBC and we are going to use most of the OBC to pay for our gratuities and not sure what to do with the rest of it

my advice would be to go to the casino and find an open slot machine....then load the amount of OBC that you want to onto the slot machine.......then once that is done cash out to player bank.....then you can go to the casino cage and get the cash from your player bank. This will allow you to ensure your OBC is utilized and in your pocket:)

Since its from a price drop and refundable. All the OP would have to do is go to the purser's desk the last night and close out their account and ask for the rest in cash.

Well, I wait because until then I dont know how much I want to spend in the stores... so I wait until I am ready to close out my account.

 

I am platinum so can go to the platinum line where I dont have to wait.

 

I doubt you would want to close out your account much earlier?

 

You will have to sign a paper to get the cash, saying yes you got it.

the lines to the guest services are horrendous the last night. Unless you are FTTF or platinum.

 

Can you close out your account using the kiosks now?
