cruise help!

I just got back from our cruise with the MSC Divina and absolutely loved it! This was our first cruise and i'm already planning our next cruise for next summer. I do need some help now... We'd like to make a cruise in the Caribbean and we do like new ships. There are so many cruise lines and we are kinda new cruisers so any advice will be appreciated!

The number of ships that sail the Caribbean in summer is much lower than winter. Many of these are not new. The newest two I can think of are the Disney Fantasy and Carnival Breeze (maiden voyages were both in 2012). I think the new Norwegian Getaway (maiden voyage next year) is going to sail the Caribbean.

Or you could fly out to either Barbados or Puerto Rico

to catch Carnival VALOR at either end of its loop between those two ports-of-call.

You can board at either San Juan P.Rico -or at Bridgetown Barbados! :)

It's a nice cruise: very popular: port intensive! Book early.

Basic itinerary?

P.Rico: departure at 10 p.m. Sunday nite.

St. Thomas on Monday.

Tuesday is a day at sea.

Wednesday is Barbados. ..the other board point..

Thursday is St. Lucia.

Friday is St.Kitts.

Saturday is Sint Marrten(on the Dutch side: great deals in Philipsburg)

Sunday is back to charming Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.

If you opt to board at Barbados, you'll be on that same loop,

-just that you'll be on a Wednesday-to-Wednesday time frame

instead of P.Rico from Sunday to Sunday.

We just did Valor -wife loved it!! - so did I!
