DisneyGuy15 Posted July 20, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2013 We've never done ncl before. Is the fridge empty or 1 of those mini-bar situations? I've read some reviews about how the fridge has items for purchase. We have 3 kids and I don't want any 'extras' added on.
Rare KeithJenner Posted July 20, 2013 #2 Share Posted July 20, 2013 It will be full of mini bar stuff, but you can ask your room steward to empty it for you if you want.

Kimf Posted July 20, 2013 #4 Share Posted July 20, 2013 Yep - Our room steward was great about emptying our fridge when we arrived on the Jewel a few weeks ago.... not before my 11 year old spied the gummy bears though and bought them! :) His money, not mine, so no worries! NJ Johnny Posted July 20, 2013 #6 Share Posted July 20, 2013 We asked our steward to empty it and we put all the items into the cube seat.

Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app You can do it yourself, but I would tell the steward that you are not going to use any of the items and that the items are in the cube. We put it back in the fridge before we left.
Want2Cruise Posted July 21, 2013 #9 Share Posted July 21, 2013 We had ours locked as soon as we got into our cabin.
roger001 Posted July 21, 2013 #10 Share Posted July 21, 2013 Since the room steward is usually really busy on that first day, we just always empty it ourselves, putting the stuff in an available drawer. We tell the steward that we've done that and leave a note on the last evening reminding him/her where it is stored and that we didn't use anything. I think they appreciate having something taken off of their plate. :)
