Capri from Sorrento

It's easy to take a fast ferry from Sorrento (Marina Piccola) to Capri; it takes about a half hour to make the crossing.

Timetable here: http://www.gescab.it/linee/DettaglioLinea.asp?idli=1

Thank you for the link to the ferry. Can you make recommendations on what to do when getting off the ferry in Capri?

For some strange reason we usually agree with Euro Cruiser. If its a nice day (not too hot) it can be fun to hike between Oia and Fira. And we also love the chair lift which is one of the best bargains on the island. The view from the top of Mt Solaro is breathtaking.... That being said, the chairlift is not a good thing for folks afraid of heights :)

We're planning the same thing in Nov. Would there be any issue to wait and buy ferry tickets once we're there? Easy to find once tendered in Sorrento?

There isn't any real need to buy the ferry tickets in advance, especially in November. Do keep in mind that the line to get tickets can sometimes take a while, so it's best to get there a bit in advance of the ferry time you want.

I haven't tendered into Sorrento, so can't help with that.
