C&A points

Recommended Posts

Help! We are going on our first RCI cruise on the Oasis in January. I know I must sign up for C&A while onboard, but what I don't know is how to accumulate points. We have booked 2 staterooms - one for my DH and me and one for our DD (5 yrs old) and my mother. Both staterooms are ocean balcony D3. How many points will we get? Who gets them? Thank you!

So, do my husband and I each get our own acct or do we share? We are paying for my mom, do we get her points? And, what about our daughter?

You will only get your points, your mom and daughter will get their own.

You and your husband will each have your own account, but they will be linked by household. That means that if one of you were to gain more point than the other and get to a level first, you each move up to the same level. That will also be true for your daughter assuming she lives with you. She will be at your level (if they aren't the same) until she turns 18 or moves out.

My wife has more C&A points than I do since she and her mother have been on a few cruises without me. She'll make D+ before me, but they will bump both of us up.

Here's the link to the Crown & Anchor society: https://secure.royalcaribbean.com/cas/home.do

There's a Frequently Asked Questions link there. Here's the link about enrolling while onboard: http://www.royalcaribbean.com/customersupport/faq/details.do?pagename=frequently_asked_questions&pnav=5&pnav=2&faqSubjectName=Crown+%26+Anchor+Society&faqId=963&faqSubjectId=340&faqType=faq

You can enroll online, fill out a form onboard, or call the phone number.

The only advantage to enrolling while onboard is if you are interested in booking your Next Cruise while onboard to get those benefits. Otherwise, you can enroll after your cruise as well. Points get posted a couple of weeks after completing a sailing.

You can not enroll on line until you have completed your first cruise. You can, however, see the Loyalty Ambassador on board and sign up at that time.
