Does upgrading make you in eligible for a price drop.

We took advantage of an upgrade offer from an inside room to a ocean view room for $30. Does that affect our ability to take advantage of a price drop? If not, which category should I be looking at, the inside or ocean view?

If you are booked early saver, you are eligible for price drops up to two business days prior to sailing. Yes you would still be able to take them. You would need to compare to the price paid for the category that you are now in. Same category, same date, same number of people .

What is early saver? I booked this past friday august 30 for a cruise february 15 on the Breeze. I took lowest rate oossible which is a bunk bed cat 1a. Pls advise how I look for price drops or if u think I would get upgraded. Iam also a past guest. Thanks.

I dont see an early saver rate on there. Yet, it is before final payment so you can apply for price drops up till final payment :)

If you were eligible before, you still should be but the cost basis will be different.

 

Also, if you had any OBC or other perks with the Inside room, you probably forfeit those.

Look on your receipt to see which rate you booked. If you booked early saver you will be eligible for price drops. Doesn't matter which cat cabin you booked.
