Bernard vs. Noel Tours

Why should I choose one over the other?

We have used Bernard, very good tour. Kroger or Safeway, about the same.

My experience, AVOID NOEL AT ALL COSTS!!!

 

He doesn't respond to e-mail once you've send him money. I sent him a deposit and once I did that he stopped e-mailing and won't return my calls. I think I'm out the $46 at this point.

I haven't had that experience with Noel. He even sent me a picture of what to look for when we get off the ship.

Noel is great. We took a tour with him. He is the best!!

How long after you sent him the deposit did he send instructions?

I booked with Noel Tours also for next week(Monday) with our port on the Jewel of the Seas, and he sent the instructions the same day I made the deposit... however I have been unable to contact them to confirm the dates- several emails and phone calls including a voice mail today.

 

I'm a little concerned as we fly out early Saturday, and I wanted to verify our reservation- but I'll just relax and let the vacation vibe set in and have no worries.

 

I'll update with additional info when we return.

If it's any indication of the state of the business, the Noel Tours website has "stepped out for a bit" and the site host is asking for the owner to contact them.

We had absolutely no problems and were 100% happy with our experience with the tour. It was a little worrisome to not get the immediate responses we have come to expect from our fast paced lives- but I realized that isn't how the islands work. Also, I don't think they have anyone that sits in an office taking reservations- they do it all so they are busy all the time.

 

Best advice, just plan in advance as best you can. I recommend you take the tour. It was a great way to spend the day.:D

We used Bernard's several years ago. It was a good experiance. Went to Orient and Maho. I love the jets flying over!
