mikechass Posted September 28, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 28, 2013 I wondered if anyone off Quest can give me an idea about how much the packages cost on board. We have two kids at home who we talk to morning and night when we travel. We tend to buy the biggest package (and often have to buy a second when away more then 8 or 9 days) We are Platinum on RCCL and Elite on Celebrity so I am assuming there will be some kind of discount on Az but thought I would check with the actual rates of things Thanks so much Happy Weekend. Lottie A Posted September 28, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 28, 2013 Mike, if you are Elite on Celebrity then you will be the top level on Azamara which is Discoverer. This will give you 235 FREE Internet minutes EACH if you and your wife are both Elite/Discoverer. Should be enough to keep in touch with the kids! :)
pacheco18 Posted September 28, 2013 #3 Share Posted September 28, 2013 Mike, if you are Elite on Celebrity then you will be the top level on Azamara which is Discoverer. This will give you 235 FREE Internet minutes EACH if you and your wife are both Elite/Discoverer. Should be enough to keep in touch with the kids! :) Especially if you have an IPAD or similar. Download your emails and then log off. Read and answer your emails off line and then go back on line to send. Our 235 minutes each was more than enough on our 12 night cruise. Phxazzcruisers Posted September 29, 2013 #4 Share Posted September 29, 2013 You will each get the 235 free minutes. You will also be able to get free Internet at many of the ports you stop at. If you do what pacheco18 recommended you should have plenty of time. Enjoy your cruise
mikechass Posted September 30, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted September 30, 2013 Thanks everyone. We do use the tricks you suggest but my hubby is a reporter and it is WAY to hard for him to be "off line" for that long so although I use it mostly to email the kids, he checks his paper's website and has to do the general twitter, facebook and CNN sweep as well. I appreciate it very much I always tease that he can spend what he wants on internet as I try to spend my portion on the spa.. Compromise after all is the KEY to a successful marriage right?? Thanks again for everyones time. Can't wait to get away!!! Life is starting to get very busy for us now, with school and hockey etc. Bring on the relaxation !!!
