We just returned from our Oasis cruise and price wise (to avoid the airport fees) it was cheaper for us to rent from Thrifty...We took a taxi ($12.00) from FLL to their rental location on Miami Road just outside the PE terminal gate and when we returned the car to that location they shuttled us to the ship...couldn't have been easier or quicker.

Budget and Hertz, you can also rent from National/Alamo and get shuttled to the port from the Airport.
