Gift for my Dad cruising in December

I want to surprise my parents with something in their room but I am not cruising with them. I cruise on NCL but he loves CCL. Dad is a big gambler too. What is the best way to coordinate this with Carnival?

What a thoughtful idea.

A gift card would be perfect for someone who enjoys the casino, they have those in The Fun Shops on the ccl website.

 

Or if you are wanting more of a showy gift, you can order flowers, decorations, fruit baskets, foods, and drinks to be delivered to the room.

I would call Carnival and arrange the surprise. (Bon Voyage bottle, or gift card for Casino.)

 

I would make a couple of copies of the receipt, and seal one in an envelope, and give it to Mom. Tell her there is a surprise coming for Dad, and only open it if surprise doesn't appear by Day 3.

If you have the booking number and cabin number you can purchase from Bon Voyage on line. I'd order it for embarkation day then follow up with previous poster suggestion with note to mom but I'd say if it didn't arrive by 6:30pm she should open the envelope. Most gifts are in the cabin when you get to the cabin.

I bought cruise cash from on-line bon voyage program, I received an email confirming the purchase, and when DD arrived in cabin, a special note was on the bed along with her funtimes.
