Explorations Cafe hours?

I guess I never paid enough attention to just when they're open, so if anyone knows, please tell me. Are they the same on all HAL ships? Thanks.

They vary by day, and probably a little by ship. They will be posted in the daily paper/schedule.

On Maasdam last month:

 

Coffee Bar 7am to 10pm daily

Library 8am to 10pm, except last day of cruise closed at 4pm

Internet Terminals open 24 hrs, Internet Manager hours were not listed in On Location

but were posted at his desk (so could be changed on a whim)

On all the different ships we have been on over the years since the Explorations Café was started, the specialty coffees and teas where open from 7 AM until 10 PM. And in recent years on Collectors Cruises the Café section has also been open.

The Library is open from 8 to 10 PM. But on cruises the last the couple of years the librarian is not there full time. There is clip board to sign out books. Also she/he will list the times they will be there on the desk.

The same thing for the Internet manager -- not on duty all the time -- times will be posted on his/her desk.

Thanks, I was just curious about the hours for buying coffee drinks. As a soon-to-be 4* I'll get 50% discounts there. I love the library, but bring my own Kindle, loaded with books for a cruise. And either bring my iPad or mini iPad for internet use.

I'm glad to learn that it's open when I want to get my bedtime hot chocolate there!
