both ...but the machines are coinless when you cash out you will get a piece of paper to cash out at the cage...or you can use that paper to load up the next slot machine

I thought you had to upload your winnings to your players bank? I don't play slots often but always uploaded winnings to my players bank.

We will be sailing on the Sunshine in June, and I had a question about the casino. Do the slots take cash, and if so do I need my sail and sign card in the machine to play?

Thanks

Yes, you can put cash into the machine. No, you don't need to put your card in to play but if you have any money left and want to walk away, you need your card in the machine to download it to. The machines do not pay out on a paper receipt.

To get your left over cash back, you hit the cash out button and it puts it on your card. Then you take your card to the cashier and tell them how much of it you want in cash. They swipe your card and you enter your PIN on a small keypad on the counter. They then hand you your cash.

When you first start playing, you need to set up a casino account. You put your card into the machine and set up the account with a PIN. Then every time you change machines, you put your card in, enter your PIN, and tell the machine how much of the money on the card you want to put into that machine. There are many casino workers walking around that will assist you in setting up the account.

Also a "potentially" little known fact on the Sail and Sign card. When you use it in a slot machine to add money to your player bank, you will not pay a transaction fee. It will show up as "entertainment" on your bill. This is the "free" way to get money without paying an ATM fee or a percentage fee which you'd pay if you did the same thing at the tables.

Why would you post such incorrect information? Carnival ships have never given paper payout slips.........

The other advantage to playing with your S&S card in the machine is for every 1000 point that you accumulate the machine gives you $10 cash back. When you get to 1500 points you get the On Us card for free drinks, if you go over 5000 points you get the On Us card on the 1st day of your next cruise.

Is the on us card just for inside the casino?

Yes and you must be at a machine or table. If you just walk into the casino and order a drink, they won't give it to you. They also won't wait on you at the casino bar. They will tell you that you have to be playing to get the free drinks.
