Grand Turk, HMC & Freeport Question

I'll make this short and easy. Out of these 3 ports:

1-which is the best (and easiest) to shop at?

2-Which ones can we walk and snorkel at? (I have my own mask/snorkel- no vest)

3-Which one has a best snorkel excursion?

I wanted to do the dolphin experience but for a family of 3, I can not afford to do it on this cruise. So we want to snorkel a lot, do some shopping and just chill.

1-which is the best (and easiest) to shop at? HMC doesn't really have any shopping

2-Which ones can we walk and snorkel at? (I have my own mask/snorkel- no vest) I would recommend HMC for snorkelling

3-Which one has a best snorkel excursion?

HMC is a private island run by Holland America. Carnival uses sometimes as well.

Freeport has shops right at the port, same with GT.

HMC is an island owned by Carnival Corp. which owns several cruiselines including Holland and Carnival. Carnival and Holland share the private island (different days), there is some shopping but is regulated by Carnival and is higher priced than the other 2 ports.

HMC has snorkeling in walking distance, Freeport would require a cab/van ride. GT, not sure about in walking distance.

All three have good snorkeling tours.

Thank you so much for the info! I looked at a map of Freeport and everything said shopping in a certain Port L marketplace. It looked like the ship docked in a shipyard and I didn't see shops (unless from above on maps.google it was what looked like warehouses). So that is excellent to know!!
