Where is Canadian customs on northbound coastal?

We're thinking of the repositioning cruise on the Island Princess from Los Angeles to Vancouver, stopping first in San Francisco and then Victoria on Vancouver Island. But, where do we (and our bags) go through Canadian customs? On the pier in Victoria? If so, that really cuts down the time on shore before sailing on to Vancouver. Anybody know? Thank you.

Panama Canal to SF then on to Vancouver via Victoria.

If I remember rightly we just had to go through the onshore check with Canadian Customs with our hand stuff we were taking onshore that day.A sniffer drug dog

caught one guy in the lineup and he was taken into a hut.

The main customs check will be in Vancouver . Having never cruised to Victoria there might a quick check but the cruise line would of sent the passenger and crew list ahead of time to expedite clearances.

As I recall nothing in Victoria & only in Vancouver.

The last 3 times we were in Victoria there was a small Customs building.set up just outside the gangway area, it was very speedy, as passengers were not going through with luggage.

Have done this two or three times now and agree with all comments here. Just a quick customs check at Victoria, maybe with our passport. Then real customs was at Vancouver.
