Newbies non-beach suggestions

Sorry if this has been addressed before. Wife and I are going on our first cruise in April. We are pulling in to Aruba for the afternoon/evening (1pm-10pm) in April. Wife isn't a swimmer, and also not a huge fan of just sitting on a beach soaking up sunshine. So....what other things are there for us to go do in Aruba? Would love to souvenier shop, get some decent local food. Something somewhat low key and not terribly expensive. Any help/suggestion would be greatly appreciated!

Ship docks near town. I have not been on a cruise, but have been to Aruba a number of times. Oranjestad is a nice city with lots of shopping. As I remember there is the typical caribbean stores like Diamonds International, etc. There are also bars and restaurants around. You can also take the bus quite cheaply to the Resort area where you can walk along the beach and there are also restaurants available out there.

You might want to google Oranjestad and see what's available.
