Has anyone traveled in either 14500 or 14000 in the past few months. I am booked in 14500 later this year and would love your recent review. Many old ones posted but nothing in the last 6 months or so. Any tips you could give would be great. We want to get the most out of this expeience.:D

There aren't too many reviews about Dawn class Garden Villas all together, at least I've been unable to find too many good ones. Luckily there are at least some relatively good videos in Youtube to ease the pain of waiting. :D

 

However, I don't understand why recent reviews would be important to you - butler and concierge of those cruised earlier might not even be onboard or the butler could be in completely different suite section etc. Not much changes normally besides the crew.

i partied there a bunch its 3 huge bedrooms and 2 nice decks, huge sofa, had a party for 50 people and plenty of room, its truly insane.

Two months ago or two years ago, same difference. Unless you have 6-8 people in your party it's a waste. It is like renting a whole floor of a hotel for only two people.

Not sure what to say that has not been posted before. Over 5000 SF of private indoor and outdoor space. Anything within reason will be provided. The biggest problem you may not see much more of the ship. Really no reason to leave. Back in 14500 for the 3rd time in 10 days. You will be spoiled rotten.

If you have 8 then there is a problem. GV on the Dawn has a max of 7. :rolleyes:

There are only two cabins available each cruise. Therefore, very, very few comments and reviews.

 

Really can not imagine much has changed in the past 6 months, or probably even two years.

We were in 14000 last January. It was AWESOME!!!! What else can be said??? My review is in my signature. I doubt much has changed. If you book it off season and have 6 people, it really is affordable. If you have any specific questions, just ask. It seems there are several people on here who have been in them that will gladly respond.

We will be in 14000 in April and I'll for sure at least have a thread on the NCL board about the cruise.

Our group chose 14000 for the kitchen versus the bar.

But I can't imagine either being a bad experience, cabin wise.

We cruised in 14000 in 2012 and just cruised in January of this year in 14500. The main difference between the two is 14000 has somewhat of a kitchen area and 14500 has a bar area - other than that they are identical!

 

Here are some things we absolutely love about sailing in the Garden Villas:

1. The priority Embarkation and Disembarkation - your butler or conceriege escorts you - of course -there's comments from other passengers because you typically move to the front of the lines. This include port days and tender usage.

2. GV Amenities are the best - from breakfast and lunch at Cagneys to special treats from your butler - such as various snacks in your room when you return from a port stop.

3. Your bar is stocked with your choice of 6 bottles of a selected beverage menu - but if you don't see want you'd like - just ask - you may be charged a little extra - but typically - it can be done. Not to mention you can select your mix to go with your beverage selection - don't forget to ask for a blender - you can make your own frozen cocktails!

4. The space is unbelievable - the sun deck and the lower deck with the hot tub and sauna - it's fantastic. Also- there's a back door on your deck that you can use - just remember to lock it!!!

5. Last - the reactions you get from other guest when you use your key card to access the 14th floor - our response was - we are pet handlers - really - it's clearly posted what's ont he 14th floor - but we made a game of it!

You should be excited :D...you are in for the time of your life !!! Wish I was going again :). One little hint...close the blinds in the master bathroom at night because any one on deck can see right in otherwise ;)
