Drink Ordering Question

I have seen the drink menu and prices posted, and it got me wondering if they ever have "happy hour" specials, or any other specials (like a bucket of beer kind of thing)??

yes, I have seen "happy hour" listings on some of the ships...not a beer drinker, but they used to have the bucket of beer specials..not sure if they still do or not...Happy Hours will usually be listed in your cruise compass...and there is also the drink of the day specials...

Yes. Very recent Freedom cruise...buckets, "beer around the world" (bucket of 5 international beers), Happy Hour in the casino, buy one get one margaritas... It's all in the half-slip of paper along with the Compass.

I've seen casino happy hours on several RCI ships. On Grandeur, they had a martini happy hour more than one day.

Sometimes at the pool, they sell a beer cooler. I bought it once for the cooler, not sure if it's still going but it was a good deal and you could pick which kind of beers went in, and "refilling" the cooler was cheaper too, though I don't know how much, I left 3 beers in the fridge so never needed a refill:p:o

Explorer last month did 50% off cocktails between 3 and 5 PM at all bars -- while this WAS the plague ship, the same sailing, in the C&A welcome letters, they offered 20% the beverage packages to Diamonds and above,

On Grandeur, they had a martini happy hour every day buy one get one free in the crown lounge we were on her in December.

I beleive they have deals like this at the private islands as well. Bag of Coronoa, you get to keep the cooler bag. Don't remember the price, as I had the all inclusive package, but didn't cover that so I didn't look into it often.

 

There is always usually a speacial each day or at different bars at different times.

the freedom had 1/2price drinks from 5 to 730 everyday in the casino back in oct 2013. we would stop and get a drink every night on the way to the 7 o clock show . I would guess this varies depending on which ship you are on though good luck and happy cruising Edited February 5, 2014 by help04me

I know on the Oasis/Allure it was printed in the compass. The only one I rememebred seeing was the Martini deals

On Grandeur in November they had Happy Hour every night from 3-5pm in all bars 50% off drinks. Also had half price Bloody Mary's one morning in the casino and Martini specials most night in the Viking Crown lounge.
