Really enjoying you live posts as we will be on the Serenade in 6 weeks doing the same itinerary.

Two questions

1 Is there a guitar player/entertainment in the Crown & Castle Pub?

2 Are the Crown and Anchor coupons loaded on you Seapass card or do they still use the books?

Thanks, enjoy you cruise.

Hello there, yes there is guitar in the pub. Right now, Clark Sullivan is there and he is great. We sailed with him on the Majesty 2 years ago. He knows a wide range of songs, just don't ask him about Bon Jovi :)

The coupon are loaded on your cards and you have to request them most of the time. Only 1 time have I seen the coupon applied without us asking.

Looking forward to reading all your postings. We were on her in January and will be doing the same itinerary as you are come April 19!!! If Faroud (sp?) is still the bartender in the R Bar tell him Diana and Ken Jackson from Texas said hello and will see him soon. He wasn't sure if he would still be on her. He makes some great drinks.

We have not had a drink at the R Bar yet. We have visited every other bar on the ship though :) We will try and stop by there tonight.

If you revisit Vintages, be sure to say hi to Carina or Romano for me - let them know that Justin and Megan say hi :) Also if Carina does her Italian wine tasting again, don't miss out on it - a great way to spend some time one evening. Delicious and informative!

Day 3 in the Dinning Room brought the Pimiento menu. This is always one of my favorite menus. The Tiger Shrimp and Lasagna are always good and everyone raves on the Chicken Marsala. This go around, the Tiger Shrimp was over cooked and our waiter said it had been like this for a few weeks. I could not get them out of the shells and neither could the waiter. They were still good but I had to resort to eating like a caveman to finish my meal. Outside of the shrimp, everyone enjoyed dinner.

We did the Discover Atlantis tour. Even though I had read lots of things about it being over priced, we decided to take it anyway. I don't think it was overpriced and you got to see lots of the property and the Aquariums are pretty nice. You learned about the history of the hotel and lots of information in Plato and his writings

hi there; I just want to clarify that immigration was needed even though it was the first port stop after a sea day. I don't understand but will research a bit further. TIA. Happy sailing to you.

I am sure it has to do something with Duty Free shops and taxing stuff since they collect tax for US ports. At least, that would be my guess.

I too enjoyed the Discover Atlantis tour. It was worth it to me. Your pictures, which are great btw, bring back some good memories. Those glass sculptures are just beautiful. Did you sit in that big chair just outside the casino? It was too busy and I couldn't do it. :(

Thanks for this review. You are doing a great job. Appreciate it.

Gwen :)

I am glad the pictures are turning out OK. We didn't sit in the chair this trip but we did last year. Last time we were here we just explored and decided we wanted to see more of Atlantis on this stop.

Thank you for posting. We're flying to New Orleans tomorrow and staying at Country Inn on Magazine St for 2 nights and then getting on Serenade when you are getting off! LOVE seeing all your pictures and reading your posts - it's making us VERY excited for this trip! After tonight I won't be able to follow you since I do not take a computer on vacation. Hope you have a wonderful rest of the week.

We stayed at the Country Inn on Magazine also. It's centrally located to lots of things, plenty of nice restaurants around.

We spent the day hanging around Coco Cay. The Majesty of the Seas was also there but the island did not feel crowded at all. We could see a Norwegian ship tendered by their private island which is on island over.

If you have never been, try the Coco Loco drink. Its pretty tasty with or without the rum!
