AJI2596 Posted February 24, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2014 I don't want to rent a cabana (been there and hated it) but I was interested in bringing our own beach tent. Is this allowed? Thanks:)

Is this allowed? Thanks:) If you can pack it in your luggage than I would say sure you can bring it with you. I haven't actually brought a tent but we do bring additional floats & a beach blanket in our luggage and use them in ports, so why not a beach tent. Typhoon1 Posted February 25, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 25, 2014 Bring it along. The worst thing they can do is tell you take it down.
sascec Posted January 22, 2015 #5 Share Posted January 22, 2015 I myself, have never seen one there, but that doesn't mean it's not allowed. Good question! I am going to do the same thing on April cruise. I am not concerned about the public beaches but the private islands may be a different story. I have a pretty good arrangement: use camping chairs with inflatable cushions and the beach tent/cabana with sand anchors. All I need is good weather and a bottle of water! cruisewiththekids Posted September 10, 2018 #8 Share Posted September 10, 2018 I saw someone with a small pop-up beach tent on my visit a couple weeks ago. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
Nashna Posted January 6, 2019 #9 Share Posted January 6, 2019 We always bring our portable beach umbrellas with us. We have even used them onboard ship when we couldn't find shade by the pool.
