Baxter Posted February 24, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2014 Greetings Im wondering if anyone can report on the Margaritaville in Falmouth -- I understand that the pool was delayed in opening, and wonder if things are up and running now. We are looking for something to do without going too far, and looking for something to keep our 5 and 7 year olds entertained.
JYD Hawkeye Posted February 25, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 25, 2014 Greetings Im wondering if anyone can report on the Margaritaville in Falmouth -- I understand that the pool was delayed in opening, and wonder if things are up and running now. We are looking for something to do without going too far, and looking for something to keep our 5 and 7 year olds entertained. Was there last April and didn't notice if pool was open. Not a good place for a bunch of kids to hang out. It is more like a college party there. Things going on that youngsters dont need to see. Lots of beach excursions close to port though. They would prob. enjoy beach more. Catch a cab inside the port and they will hook you up. Do not use the cabs outside the port.

Baxter Posted March 3, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted March 3, 2014 Thanks for the information. We took the kids to the Margaritaville in Montego Bay last year and they had a blast, depite there not being any water activities. We sat outside, they enjoyed their frozen mocktails and snacks, and loved to listen to the music. While we do understand it probably isn't targeting the family crowd, we are smart enough to select seats where the kids can't see any of the goings on inside where the dj was. OCruisers Posted March 5, 2014 #7 Share Posted March 5, 2014 Thanks ... Always interested in updates on Margaritaville in Falmouth. For those of us who have been to Jamaica many times it seems like a fun and convenient thing to do! Safe too! :) LuLu ~~~
