GTO-Girl Posted February 25, 2014 #5 Share Posted February 25, 2014 is there housekeeping service for cabins, on the Imgination 4day Mexico cruise? Your room will be serviced twice a day. The room stewards do a great job keeping everything tidy....
Almost Packed Posted February 26, 2014 #6 Share Posted February 26, 2014 You will have a cabin steward. He or she will take care of your cabin and things that you may need for your cabin....example, ice, glasses, extra pillow etc. He/she and his team will service your cabin. They will give you turn down service, make your beds in the morning, tidy up, empty trash etc. I do believe some ships now have you make a request for ice if you want it. They are like secret ninjas. They are in and out and you hardly ever see them...i've been where I met them on embarkation and never saw them again. My cabin was nice & tidy the entire cruise. It was great. Have fun and enjoy your cruise..and remember, not maids, stewards. :)

SoCalKJ Posted February 26, 2014 #10 Share Posted February 26, 2014 No. You are expected to bring your own cleaning supplies and expected to take all trash with you on debarkation day. I almost peed myself! :D Hilarious. However, does any ship use the term "maid" anymore?
Saltz Posted February 26, 2014 #11 Share Posted February 26, 2014 Imagination was the first ship we stayed on with Carnival. You'll love it! I can't remember our steward's name but he was extremely kind, hard-working, and courteous. We tipped him extra at the end. SadieN Posted February 26, 2014 #12 Share Posted February 26, 2014 No. You are expected to bring your own cleaning supplies and expected to take all trash with you on debarkation day. You wrote exactly what I was thinking. :D Waht do you say when someone asks - "Has anyone stayed in Cabin XXX?" OP-- Have a great cruise. The Imagination is a good ship. google Catalina Chamber for things to do on Catalina. Also look on the California Coastal and Mexican Riviera boards.
