Soda carry on question?

We are a family of 5 all boading at the same time. 3 people in my family are big Diet Mt. Dew drinkers so we'll be taking on three 12 packs and I'll throw in some Red Bull for mixers with my Bon Voyage order along with a couple bottles of champagne. What I'm wondering is since we are all boarding together and one family will I be able to put all the soda and Red Bull into just one of our carry-ons or will I have to distribute it to 3 different carry-ons? It's so much easier if we can just use one then I'd have a nice case to bring home souvenirs and any other extras.

 

We're sailing out of Galveston if that makes a difference. Thanks for your help!!!

Yes, no problem if you're all together at the scanner.

For our last cruise, we crammed all of the soda and red bull into one rolling carry-on. When the inspectors looked through it, they counted each can.

Big Diet Mt Dew drinker here too...the worse part of going solo on next cruise is not being able to take 2-12 packs. :D

Are you allowed to bring sodas on from port as well? Like if you run out of something (non-alcoholic)?

I have with no issues (Key West and Nassau). Should be no problem elsewhere.

We did this with six of us and our wheeling duffel bag was so heavy a wheel cracked off. DH kept dragging it though. So funny.

Yes. The 12 drinks can be anything non alcoholic

In answer to the question about bringing non alcoholic drinks from port- I have brought 20z bottles of Dr pepper onboard several times from port with no problem. That way, on embarkation day I can carry just what I need to get to the 1st port day.
