Do any tours pick up at ship?

Yes, and that's an excellent way to go as you save the time of transfering into port and you also have a specific time you can get off the ship rather than waiting in line.

We took the Goff's Caye excursion from a Carnival ship, not sure if that's currently offered? The Rendezvous Caye and a couple others are offered I believe.

These leave you enough time to return to the ship, shower, and tender into port for a little shopping and lunch.

These are through the ship, you will need to tender into port for a private excursion.

We too prefer private excursions when it makes sense (for more flexibility, less queues, more time at the destinationetc) but here that doesn't always make sense because you're tendered so far off the port.

Now we tendered into port to grab a water taxi to Caye Caulker on our own and that is the only way to go - on your own. But for any other excursion to a location off the coast of Belize, we would always choose the ship excursion for the obvious benefits of being picked up and dropped at the ship and no tender lines.

Good luck

No line will allow private tours to pick up at the ship.

Many ship sponsored excursions involving boats (snorkeling, scubs, etc) and excursions to the Cay's will pick up directly and save you the 20 minute tender into town and back out.

Pretty significant to save 40-60 minutes of your short day.
