Bed Rails? Norwegian Jewel

We'll be cruising on the Jewel August 23rd. Our then 3 year old twins will be traveling with us and we have booked a mini-suite. Does anyone know if NCL has bedrails (removable like the ones you put on your toddler's bed when they transition from a crib to a regular bed) to use on the pull out sofa bed? Also, anyone who has been on the Jewel in a mini-suite, how secure are the doors leading out to the balcony? Would it be difficult for a 3 year old to open on their own? Thanks in advance for any information you can provide! :)

Don't know about the bed rails, but as to the balcony door....there is a child resistant lock up high on the door about 6 feet from the floor.

The couch doesn't have bed rail and I don't know if they have any. In fact, I don't think one would even fit.

 

IMO you could just request some pillows for the floor next to the bed. One side is against the wall and not an issue.

We put the unused cushions on the floor standing up one between the fridge and bed the other the desk and bed with the bed open it takes up almost all the room

I know on the interiors, if you have a pull down bed from the wall, they come with the little rail on the sides.

 

It's hard to see in this picture, but it is along the side there in white.

The mini on the jewel is a fold down couch. You can see it made up in this picture.
