Dinner or drinks in Bermuda

Hi all! My husband and I are going to Bermuda with RC next month and we are docked over night. We were thinking it would be fun to have dinner and drinks off the ship that night, since we are so rarely docked anywhere overnight. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go? I know Bermuda is a small island and I'm trying to see what's out there. It doesn't necessarily have to be near the port, but it would be a plus if it was. Thanks!

Since you expressed interest in restaurants close by, there are several restaurants just a short walk from where your ship will be docked, on the grounds of the Royal Naval Dockyard:

Bone Fish Bar and Grill, Cafe Amici, Freeport Seafood Restaurant and the Frog and Onion Pub are all at the Dockyard.

There is no shortage of places to eat everywhere on the island. This web page has brief descriptions of many of them:

I happen to be partial to the Hog Penny in Hamilton, which is a casual pub.

One of my favorites is Pampano Beach Club. We have been there for lunch - great prices and perfect view. Fairly close to the Dockyard. I like being on the water. The other resorts are too pricey and much further away.

Regardless - have fun!!

What kind of place are you looking for? More casual or upscale?

I have never been to Bermuda, but will be there next month. I have been doing a lot of reading, and the Swizzle Inn seems to be a great spot! Can't wait to have some drinks there!

Thanks for the tip! Have fun next month!

Hello Again -

In case you are looking on the map Pampano is next to Port royal golf course.

I imagine dinner would be fairy expensive at Pampano. The guests are all paying 400/night.

We ate at the grill area overlooking the water -decent food. We were the only ones there both times. Recommend the fish bites
