Greek Isle

Wife's dream cruise is the Greek Isle. Been looking at Celebrity and Royal Caribian, just seems like Celebrity had more Ports of Call (14 day). Is one cruise line better over the other? What is the best time to go? Suggestion on excursions?

Unless you like the heat I would go April May or Sept to Nov

 

Best cruise line is subjective just depend on how many people you want to share the cruise with ;)

We prefer smaller ship with < 1000 PAX ...they can usually get into some ports that the bigger ships do not go

 

Pick the one for the itinerary you like & that your budget will allow

There are many to pick from - ranging from bargain 7 day Norwegian Jade from Venice, to more upscale Celebruty and Holland America, to top of the line, small ship Azamera Quest two week itineraries.

 

Mykonos and Santorini are musts, Rhodes and Ephesus are also typical - go on from there.

Also look at Louis Cruises. This is a Greek line but not at all like the major cruise lines. If you go, think of the ship as a very nice ferry to get you to ports. The food was good, lots of different nationalities, people got on and off at every port.
