torbs Posted April 8, 2014 #4 Share Posted April 8, 2014 Have fun! Remember a bad day at sea is better than a good day in the office! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
2disneydads Posted April 8, 2014 #5 Share Posted April 8, 2014 How formal does it get? On some short cruises we have seen few men in suits or even jackets. (OK, this was more on Carnival.) Is the formal night on the Liberty of the Seas more traditional? Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
dfisherwv@gmail.com Posted April 8, 2014 #6 Share Posted April 8, 2014 We are sailing on the 21st of April on the LOS, and I hope it is more traditional. This is our second cruise and first not on Carnival... And I got a great deal on a tux on eBay!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk It is not so formal...I don't go anymore to formal nights..after 29 cruises, no more formal nights...on that night we go to Chops or Portifinos ( now Giovanni's)...BTW, you don't have to dress formal on formal night...we have been on the Liberty twice, and you can just wear a sport jacket if you want...you may get some looks from DRS's ( dining room snobs), but I don't go on cruises so I can dress formal...that would be like the postman on his day off, he takes a walk..just my HO....
