Could someone kindly tell me how cold it is in the ship in the evening?? Just strolling around the promenade or the sitting by the pool bar. do we need a jacket in the first week of June? Is beach wear attire, i.e. a maxi dress/ sun dress ok for most days thanks in advance. then in the port, the weather is it chilly this time of the year thanks

I would be doing an Internet search for a weather service (like accuweather) for two of the ports on your cruise. Get some trend/history info, and consider while at sea, with the ship moving, it might be a bit cooler.

Since you are from Bahrain, what seems fine to me might seem cool to you. To get a more accurate idea, use one of the weather sites such as http://www.wunderground. It gives historic highs and lows for almost any city, which should give you a better idea.

 

When the ship is underway, there is nearly always a breeze. At the time of year you are cruising, it is unlikely to be very cool. Resort attire onboard ship is fine. Perhaps a very light cardigan/wrap/jacket in the evenings.

Do not be concerned...If you find you are uncomfortable, you can purchase a shawl in the shops for about $10, available in all colors of the rainbow. EM
