(I think) I submitted a Price Protection Form

First time submitting the price protection form on Carnival.com and I'm not sure if it's going through! I filled out all required info, pressed submit button and nothing. I thought something would say "thanks for submitting" or "Form received", but I'm not getting anything. Is another screen supposed to pop up?

I've always gotten a standard email after submitting.

I didn't get an email until it was either approved or denied.

I have had the same problem with the form not submitting on the first try. Hit the refresh on your browser then re-pick the ship and date and it will go. Once they turn you down email your PVP and maybe they will help you. Got us $300 per person on the Breeze in 2 weeks

I haven't received any kind of email, so I'm still not sure if they ever received it. I don't want to keep submitting it like some crazy saving person :p

I just submitted one today and it just took me back to the screen before. But I received a reply within 15 mins

give it like 2 days (it is a holiday weekend). If you haven't heard anything. Submit again. They usually get back to you within a day.

Same thing here...press submit and nothing. Either it is going through a lot of times or something is wrong. So response so I am guessing the latter.

Sometimes I've have received an email and other times not.

Make sure where you put the fare in that you saw that it is exactly in the format they are asking for.

I messed up a decimal and it highlighted in red on that section where the fare is and it would not go through until I figured out what was wrong and made the correction.

isn't there a difference between the Price Protection Form (used for purchase price adjustments within 24 hours of purchase),,,,, and the ES price reduction form?

I'm not sure what's going on :confused:, but I just decided to email my PVP instead. And yes you do have to enter everything in correct format, it will kick it out.

 

Hopefully someone will know the answer to the difference in forms.

If all else fails just call Carnival. They can walk you thru it.

I am having the same issue...I submitted it like 10 times so hopefully one goes through.

sierra821 you should call Carnival or your PVP, I never received anything after submitting numerous times.

If you have a PVP they can take care of your price drop, I have done it 3 times already for my cruise in august. Just give them a call and they will take care of it!
