SuzyQ123 Posted April 23, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 23, 2014 We are scheduled for a British Isles Grand Adventure 26 day cruise. It actually consists of 2- 13 day cruises. I'm curious if we will receive $250 (over 14 days)on board credit or $200 ($100 each for a 13 day cruise) because of our Carnival stock ownership. Either way will be nice, but just curious. caribill Posted April 23, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 23, 2014 (edited) If you have it booked with two booking numbers, your would receive approrpriate OBC for each of the 13 day segments ($100 each). If you have it booked with a single booking number, you would get $250. Edited April 23, 2014 by caribill
SuzyQ123 Posted April 23, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted April 23, 2014 Thanks! That does make sense. We do just have one booking number.:)
TravelnAl Posted April 23, 2014 #4 Share Posted April 23, 2014 Thanks! That does make sense. We do just have one booking number.:) But...you can get credit for two cruises. Just speak with the Captain Circle rep while on board and make sure you are credited that way.

Dave.ca Posted April 23, 2014 #7 Share Posted April 23, 2014 We did a Vancouver to Fort Lauderdale Panama Canal transit last year. Booked it as one cruise online. Didn't even see it presented as two cruises. When we got aboard, we learned that it was in fact two cruises, Vancouver to Los Angeles, Los Angeles to Fort Lauderdale. Many people were aboard for just one or the other leg. When we spoke to the Captain's Circle rep, she was quite unresponsive, refusing to count them as two cruises (we are Platinum, nearing Elite) because they were "booked as one cruise". I've seen conflicting reports about this. Some say they got it, others didn't. It certainly can't hurt to ask the Captain's Circle rep onboard to give you the second cruise credit and if that doesn't work, you can try again with a land based rep after the cruise ends... I'm going to try this on our upcoming cruise on the Regal's maiden voyage. We booked as a single 13-night cruise, but it's also being marketed as a 7-night and a 6-night cruise... caribill Posted April 23, 2014 #10 Share Posted April 23, 2014 On board, ask during the second segment. If the onboard rep does not realize it can be done, wait until you get come and call the Captain Circle's desk at Princess. Counting each segment as a cruise point has been in effect for cruises back to about four years ago although doing this did not start until about 18 months ago. Rare Waynetor Posted April 24, 2014 #11 Share Posted April 24, 2014 We did not know about longer multi segment cruises booked as 1 counting as multiple until we read about here on CC back in 2012. On next cruise went to the captain circle rep and got extra credits for cruises up to 3 years past.
SuzyQ123 Posted April 24, 2014 Author #12 Share Posted April 24, 2014 I didn't even think about getting possible credit for both cruises. We'll definitely give it a try. Thanks!
