Thanks so much for the review, the images you use with tap talk are great. When I tap them on my iPad , they enlarge ,and are very clear. Your review has helped pass the time I've been waiting until my cruise in two weeks. Thanks again!

That's Junkanoo Beach and it's maybe a 15 minute walk from the cruise ship terminal. Lots of outdoor restaurants right there too

Some of Nassau looks shady... How is the walk to Junkanoo - does it seem like a safe / not run down area the whole way?

Asking as we are sailing with my to be 7 month old daughter and had not planned on getting off in Nassau, but we might if this beach is walkable. (I don't want to worry about the car seat and a cab until I really want to leave the ship in St Thomas or St. Marteen.

Thanks!

Bugsy....sorry to hear about your camera issues. Hope you get a decent camera for your next 'live from' review. It really sucks, but your phone camera isn't all that bad.

When I do my review from the Allure (but it won't be live), I'm bring an arsenal of my new Nikon D7100, and my 14-24 (2.8) monster wide angle lens, and the rest of my telephoto lenses. Hopefully, I won't encounter any unforseen downtimes with my new camera. It has been performing flawlessly lately.

I hope you enjoy your last sea day today and show more of the inside of the ship, and all around the ship. Food porn and drink porn are ok, but what else is there to show?

Thanks, you friend,

You should be all right going over there. It's a 15 minute walk from the ship and almost all of it is through the downtown shops and hotels, so you won't have to worry about safety

Chris, DH wants to know what they showed on the movie screen. When we were on the Rhapsody in Sept. they looped the same thing over and over for 12 days. I hope they show something worth while.

They showed a few movies including Some Like It Hot and then some stuff about Allure but it wasn't the same thing over and over.

I personally appreciate the tremendous efforts Chris has put forth in posting live. He is taking precious time to upload photos for all of us to enjoy. I am sure you didn't mean any harm, but I don't think anyone should be critiquing his contents.

Thanks Cat. There have been times I have wanted to give up simply due to how slow the Wi-Fi can be but I don't because I know how much people enjoy these live reviews and I won't let them down.

I really feel like I have been on vacation with you. I have never done a live review but the fact that you have actually take time out of your vacation to answer questions (even mine about the limo) is beyond appreciated. I see that Johhny Rockets is your breakfast of choice. I live free on crises and eat what I want but I over do it and feel crappy after the buffet breakfast. I plan on doing johnny rockets or mdr everyday on our allure cruises. Do you ever have a problem getting a table there in the mornings? Is there a certain time when it is super crowded there?

Thanks for taking me on vacation with you.

Debbie
