dst Posted June 18, 2004 #6 Share Posted June 18, 2004 I think that people who pay attention to the details of their cruise and people who make the effort to call someone often get good results. I am getting ready for my 10th cruise and I must say on all, except one, I have either had a payment adjustment, a credit on my shipboard account or a great upgrade. It just takes initiative and being pleasant to the people you are dealing with. Good for you on saving money, more to spend in other areas Days are always longer when at sea... tomc Posted June 20, 2004 #8 Share Posted June 20, 2004 My TA calls HAL on a regular basis to see if there are any price reductions. Frequently, there have been and my final payment keeps going down. She's a doll. And HAL's neat, too. * * * Put "Cruise Critic" in e-mail subject line: tomcarten@hotmail.com
