Shmoo here Posted August 10, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2014 OK, here's another question (or two). I'm sure it's been asked before, but I'm tired and about to sign off for the night. At Royal Palms I know it costs $2.00 for entrance, $7.00 for a beach chair, and $10.00 for an umbrella. Is that Cayman dollars? Or U.S. dollars? I guess the real question is, do we need Cayman dollars to spend there? Can we use US dollars and they give us back Cayman dollars in change? cb at sea Posted August 10, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 10, 2014 US Dollars are quite accepted! Not sure how the prices are quoted....if it's more (because you're using US Dollars), it's not THAT much more! You know there are beaches that have all the amenities, and NO entrance fee! I know there are. But, what tips it for me is the pool at Royal Palms. I'm not really much of an ocean/beach person, but I do like to swim. I will walk along the beach, get my feet wet, but basically, if I want to get totally wet, I prefer a pool. And I like sitting on the beach looking out at the sea.
