Hubby is looking forward to the Cigar City buckets on the Breeze in Nov.....do those cost the same and how many do you get?

We are interested in these too.

There is a post somewhere on this board that said it was $16 for a bucket which I think is an amazing deal if true.

I don't know about others ports, but out of Galveston buckets of beer are cheaper if you buy them before muster. We bought 3-4 and stored them in the room and told the steward to keep the ice coming!

Before sailing you're getting 12 oz cans and paying state tax on them, after sailing you're getting 16 oz aluminum bottles with no tax. State of Texas liquor laws.

We were on the Breeze the week of July 19 and the craft beer was $5.69 per 12oz can total and a bucket of 4 were $15.99 before tip.

Not trying to sidetrack the thread but when you order a beer (Miller, Bud) do they come in bottles or what? Thanks

They come in 16oz aluminum bottles. You can ask the bar waiter to not open them.

One of my favorite sites in the world is a bar waiter building a bucket!
