We are on the Dream 27th September and considering booking the cycling trip in Casablanca. Has anyone done this?

Have you looked at the trips on the Thomson website that will give you details if there is one. Did you get an e-mail yesterday by the way changing the itinerary from Motril to Malalga for that cruise we are on it for two weeks from 27th September?

I am looking for anybody that has been on the dream on the Moorish delights.

What trips to book or can you walk into most places.

GIBRALTAR, CADIZ, TANGIER, CARTAGENA, VALENCIA.

We're on Moorish Delights soon - I'm certainly looking at a tour in Tangiers. Gibraltar is easy to do yourself, walk into town and get a Taxi up the rock. I've not been to the other ports yet, though someone has recommended this site: http://www.whatsinport.com/ which shows they are fairly easy to go it alone.

Cartagena and Cadiz are both lovely walk off ports. Very easy to explore on your own and absolutely no need to take a trip anywhere else unless there is somewhere you especially want to see.

Agree with kruzeeka also Gib is easy and I could recommend the Hassan mosque tour in Tangier's but would recommend that you do not just walk off the ship😕

i havnt been to casablanca on a cruise but i have been there

 

i would say that cycling on the corniche and around the turistic areas of casablanca is not for the faint hearted? there is a lot of traffic its very busy with 'authentic bustle' most drivers (especially taxis and motorcycles) don’t appear to observe any kind of traffic laws and no drivers appear to be overly concerned about their safety.... they dont even stop for red traffic lights!:eek: (unless there is a police man there to enforce it)

I would recommend the ship's trip to Rabat, not sure I would want to spend much time in Casabalanca :eek::eek:
