Ropes Course

I have heard you need closed toe shoes to go on the course. Would water shoes work as I didn't plan on bringing anything but sandals and flip flops. Thanks!

I believe they would but not sure of the rules. You have to have someone assist you in hooking up so I am sure if it is against the rules you would not be allowed. When we did it we wore sneakers.

I presume the rationale is not to have flip-flops drop onto someone else's head and not to have you stub your toe. On that basis, I presume that water shoes should be fine. In fact, with some water shoes, you need to be looking pretty closely to know that they aren't the latest funky-looking sneakers.

It may depend on the water shoe what they allow. There are flimsy slip on ones or sandal type, then there are ones meant for water exercise that are more like an athletic shoe. I did it in running shoes - you need something with a enough sole to be able to balance on narrow ropes and such.
