turquoise 6 Posted August 30, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 30, 2014 On my last voyage on Breakaway, I saw people bringing Their own WATER in cases. I was surprised Is this allowed by NCL? Is there a fee in I bring A case or 2( little ones)
jkgourmet Posted August 30, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 30, 2014 No fee on ncl for water. Wine requires a $15 fee per bottle.

garycarla Posted August 30, 2014 #4 Share Posted August 30, 2014 the real question you have to ask yourself. Which water is better? Ships water or bottled water?
turquoise 6 Posted August 30, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted August 30, 2014 the real question you have to ask yourself. Which water is better? Ships water or bottled water? I see lot of cases of the smaller bottled water I would thing it depends on the brand and the price. If price was the factor which would be cheaper ? LadyShiva Posted August 30, 2014 #7 Share Posted August 30, 2014 My first few cruises/trips to Disney World with a toddler, I got caught up in the OCD of planning and brought cases of water... for which we would only drink a few bottles and need to figure out what to do with the rest of the case. Now, I get a few single bottles of the flip top type I like (disposable) and just refill the bottle at the sink tap. If kiddo loses the bottle, meh. They also weigh less than the normal water bottles. I can usually find these bottles in the airport on the way to the port, too--no need for a special trip + taxi fare. I still don't like the taste of the ship's brands of bottled water and don't like the screw tops (kiddo loses the darn things in seconds), so buying the flip tops before we get on the ship works for us. Maybe that helps you, OP?
cigarboo Posted August 30, 2014 #8 Share Posted August 30, 2014 I checked in a case of water on my 1st ncl cruise last month. I put a luggage tag on it and it showed up with the rest of my luggage. I'm not sure if it always works this way or if you are suppose to carry it on. I figure if it were to not show up for whatever reason, I would only be out $4. I like to keep water in the room and to take with me onto shore.
