ineedsun! Posted September 12, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2014 First NCL cruise! I've been on Celebrity, Carnival and RC. This is also my first REALLY big ship. Super excited! But, I've also noticed that there a lot of opportunities to spend on activities onboard:) Being new to NCL or to Getaway (not sure if this is is a fleetwide thing), I was wondering if I could get some help with maybe making a listing. I like to figure out how much to expect my sail card to be before we leave! I started a list that I've gathered from reading reviews. This does not take into consideration the specialty dining. Bowling: $5 a game Vibe: $20 a day pp Rock wall: ? Rope climb: ? Cake boss place: ? Deal or no deal: ? Comedy: ? Anything else that I have no idea about: ? Thanks in advance guys. I don't cut back AT ALL on vacation, but I've never been on a ship that has so many extra options. Knowing me, I could unexpectedly spend more on this than the actual cruise. Just would like it to not be unexpectedly:)

ColinIllinois Posted September 12, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 12, 2014 It's not an activity but if you are planning finances remember to plan $12 pp/pd for the Service Charge. Enjoy your cruise. :)
meatball_nyc Posted September 12, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 12, 2014 Carlo's Bakery is A La Carte. Get a lobster tail pastry. They are really good. Wish I had one right now! Happy Sailing! ~Robin Every Day at Sea is a Great Day

footballbabe3 Posted September 12, 2014 #6 Share Posted September 12, 2014 We bowled on the Epic and had to pay for shoes. It was only $ 2.00. So I am not sure if the other ships are free shoe rental.

Iplaygolf Posted September 12, 2014 #8 Share Posted September 12, 2014 It's really $25-$35 for fitness classes? That's brutal.
ineedsun! Posted September 13, 2014 Author #9 Share Posted September 13, 2014 It's really $25-$35 for fitness classes? That's brutal. Even the fancy yoga studios here in Denver/Boulder don't come close to that per class. Ok, so maybe I spent that at Pure Barre. This is one that I might not treat myself to!
