Ease of transfer to/from Rome and Civitavecchia

Hi We have used a private minibus in the last month they were great it worked out at 17.50 euros per person for 8 people, the driver was smart and waiting with a clear sign at both the airport and the port. They were the "Best"

The best price we had last September was 149euros for 8 (about 18euros/pp)

and they collected 2 couples from one hotel and the other 2 couples from different airport hotels and took us all comfortably direct to the ship not the port entrance like some taxis. Journey took 45 mins.

Agree, we used last year, coach leaves from port entrance where the port shuttle drops you off. It is ideal not only for the airport but continues to Rome Termini Station for those staying over for a day or so, costs 20euro/pp for either. Coach left about 9.15 and arrived at the airport before 10.30am. - you can prebook via http://www.smartcruisetours.com

 

I tried them today for Jan '15 only to find they don't have dates up yet and cannot confirm the service will run next year at the moment.
