Grandeur safe

Does anyone know if the safes on the Grandeur are locked and unlocked with a combination or if you need a card with a magnetic strip.

We've had a combo keypad the last two times we were onboard. We were in a JS. But, I always take a store rewards card with me to use just in case it's a reader. Always be prepared.:D

Wrong again. On some older ships, like Grandeur, some staterooms have card swipe safes and some have combination.

I was recently on Enchantment, Grandeur's sister ship. Our balcony room had the new touch pad combo safe while our OV had the old style credit card ones. I believe the interior rooms have the old style safes as well.

Our ocean view cabin on Grandeur had the touch pad combination safe. But I always take along a gift card in case the safe turns out to be the swipe kind.
