Solo C/A benefits cut even more

Recommended Posts

I havent cruised many times yet with RCI, but not impressed with their solo rates to say the least. Some of the worst in the industry, or at least tied with most of the others...lol Lets just say that its MUCH easier to find cheaper solo rates with some of the competiton.

I can't ever afford anything more than a inside cabin when travelling solo, so I guess it really doesnt matter.

That being said, the single/solo cruise market is something they dont want to price/cut themselves out of.

When they make a solo cruiser pay extra tips to suppliment what the staff isn't getting based of double occupancy, I will jump ship for sure.:confused:

Don't give them any ideas....:eek::)

I mostly sail solo & have given up trying to figure out what discount is going to be applied how....if a cruise I want to take, is priced at a rate I am willing to pay...I book it...if not I keep looking. So far, for me RCL is still coming out ahead when pricing other cruise lines for the same itinerary....

She sets a target of $1000 per week solo. Any OBC is a bonus. Will be the 150% supplement in early 2016 if all works out

Again, not about your wife;); you have convinced me it barely impacts her.

My concerns are for other solos, not her.

No worries, I get your point.

Let me paraphrase an old quote

First they kicked out the Diamonds, and I didn't complain.

I was not a Diamond

Then they kicked out the D+'s, and I didn't complain.

I was not a D+.

Then they kicked out the Pineapples, and there was no one left to complain.

BTW, I am a D+ :o
