ChicagoBound Posted November 2, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 2, 2014 I just read a great (albeit typically loooong) article in The New Yorker about feeding 6000 people with excellent food. The article is really fair and largely very positive about feeding so many people and feeding them well. David Foster Wallace is rolling over in his grave! Lots of insights. surgie Posted November 2, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 2, 2014 Thanks for the link. I liked reading that so much of the food on Oasis is freshly prepared, something that I did not expect. We'll be on Oasis in January and it's disappointing that the Chef's Table is no longer available. We were looking forward to that but will have to try some other options instead. ChicagoBound Posted November 3, 2014 Author #8 Share Posted November 3, 2014 I was surprised how little of the food is pre-prepared before on-loading and how much is made from scratch.
