sailor moon Posted November 7, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 7, 2014 Are the aft cabins on the summit generally a good location? I am looking at the C1 cabins. I've never sailed celebrity. The cruise would be Southern Caribbean. Thanks!
sailor moon Posted November 7, 2014 Author #2 Share Posted November 7, 2014 Which decks are prefable for a C1 aft? (Tried to edit my above post but it wouldn't let me)
Happy Cruiser 6143 Posted November 7, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 7, 2014 Yes, those are considered to be very good cabins and are priced accordingly. Most people like to avoid the deck 9 ones because of noise from furniture being moved around from above. Any of the other decks are fine.
Pathfinder2 Posted November 7, 2014 #4 Share Posted November 7, 2014 We were on 8 this year and loved it! It was our first time in an aft stateroom. We would book it again without hesitation.
coldweathergirl Posted November 7, 2014 #5 Share Posted November 7, 2014 We were in an aft CC cabin on the sister ship Millennium and absolutely loved the huge balcony. I wouldn't hesitate to book one again. I believe we were on deck 8. Sent from my iPad using Forums
Sloop-JohnB Posted November 7, 2014 #6 Share Posted November 7, 2014 (edited) LOVE The Summit We had a C1 Aft Sunset (7206) for our January 2013 cruise to the Southern Caribbean... It was awesome. Would book again in a millisecond. Balcony was beyond HUGE (easoly more than 200 sq ft). Great for Sail Ins / Sunrises and Sailaways / Sunsets. Came with extra Balcony Furniture. Very quiet (a wee bit of vibration for Sail In... But most Pax aft make a point of getting up to see / savour hat anyhow), but nothing serious Need more info just ask. Cheers! mittchelandsophie Posted November 7, 2014 #8 Share Posted November 7, 2014 Are the aft balconies on the silhouette (1206) any larger than regular veranda balconies elsewhere on the ship? They appear to be the same but I'm not sure how "to scale" the deck plans are.

New Hampshire Posted November 7, 2014 #12 Share Posted November 7, 2014 Had an aft cabin on deck 8 of the Summit in 2013. Absolutely loved it!!
wwcruisers Posted November 7, 2014 #13 Share Posted November 7, 2014 Aft C-1 7203 on Summit was the absolute best! I was a little concerned beforehand about being right over the Penthouse Suite. And, I guess if someone decided to turn that into "party central", it could get a little annoying. Fortunately for us, the folks down there were very quiet. When we were at sea, all we could hear was the lovely aft wake. But, on the nights we were docked in Bermuda, DH and I sat out on our balcony after dinner -- enjoying the live music at the Sunset Bar, above us.
ExpressoMama Posted November 9, 2014 #14 Share Posted November 9, 2014 We were on the Summit on the 10/25 sailing in cabin 7203 and we were on deck 8 aft (forget number)in 2009. Both aft cabins were great.
