Recommended Posts

Pompey Sailor,

I loved your review and the great photos. I'm staying in 1556 this Saturday and will be happy to check it out for you.😀

Thanks swingphi

Enjoy that RS, if you can let me know if the bathroom has an entry other than through the master bedroom, would be appreciated.

DD thinks we are staying in the GS next door:D, she is going to love the piano:)

Say hi to Diego for me.

Enjoy your Cruise

Happy Days!

Graham

Did they have food available in the Solarium Cafe? It was open on the Serenade of the Seas, on the first day. Also they had a drink station with flavored waters and tea open there daily, does the Jewel have that as well? We are cruising on Jewel this January 2015, and if they have the drink station available I won't need to get the beverage package. Thanks for the great review and pics.

We managed to use once all cruise for pizza and hot dogs

No drink selection other than water.

See compasses in thread for hours it is open, as I am sure it is open but just not when we went up there.

We only managed to see it open once!

The pizza was Ok and DD enjoyed her hot dog.

It was closed on embarkation

Great review! We are sailing on Jewel in March. Does everyone gambling in the casino get comp drinks?

Not to my knowledge, being in the VIP program we always have received comps.

Have witnessed people using Seapass cards when at tables to purchase beverages.

Join the program, then receive the freebies

Happy Days!

Thank you for all the details. This is so helpful to all of us planning our future cruises on the Jewel.

I'm especially grateful for the info on the teen and kids' programs, something that's difficult to find. In truth, I'm not sure our teen will find much in that program that's to her liking. But that's not much of an issue, since we're on such a port-intensive trip. Definitely considering the Tiki beach excursion in Barbados.

Cheers!

In the Windjammer they have a drink station with ice tea and flavored water.
